Facial Recognition System is in progress. FRS explores how we recognize one another-identity in and out of context. The title of this series is deliberately suggestive of technologies that “identify” who we are. Metaphysics, specifically the nature of being-that is according to ones understanding, plays an important role.
Each image is a dry point and collograph mono print. Works were printed in Barcelona and Seattle.
The accompanying clips were “triggers” for this project. These were shot in Laos, Barcelona, NYC, and Seattle.
